Clark College Associate Dean of Enrollment Services and Registrar in Vancouver, Washington

Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, 12-month, exempt Associate Dean of Enrollment Services and Registrar position.  This position reports to the Vice President of Student Affairs and is responsible for providing overall leadership, coordination and strategic vision for Enrollment Services which includes the functional areas of admissions, registration, assessment, credential evaluations, academic credit for prior learning, and selective entry programs. The Associate Dean monitors and ensures compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations and develops and implements enrollment, retention, and completion related policies and procedures. This position has an opportunity for a hybrid schedule of three days in-person, two days remote. The hybrid schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the college.

This position serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and oversees the alignment of local processes with statewide system processes related to the academic calendar, term session tables, managing student groups, service indicators, milestones, post-enrollment requisite checking (PERC), 3C's, graduation processing, and academic advising reports. Ensures that information is easily accessible in a variety of media and that staff deliver excellent customer service with a student-first service delivery model.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Apply strategic, equity-driven thinking and innovation to planning.

Serve as the college registrar and records officer to maintain the highest standards of accuracy, security, and privacy of student records.

Oversee, lead and direct functions related to admissions, assessment, registration, student records, and credential evaluations, academic credit for prior learning, and selective admissions.

Provide supervision and evaluation of program managers and administrative staff.

Ensure outstanding customer service to students, families, and others throughout the enrollment lifecycle.

Facilitate the planning, development, implementation, and assessment of Enrollment Services programs.

Collaborate with other Student Affairs leaders to set strategic enrollment management objectives, implement initiatives, and assess for targeted outcomes.

Oversee departmental budgets and work with program managers to set annual operational budgets.

Partner with information technology to evaluate and make recommendations for enhancing technology-based innovations and services; serve as the SME in the evaluation, development, acquisition, and utilization of technology resources related to Enrollment Services.

Oversee the effective implementation, integration, and maintenance of the student information system (PeopleSoft) and ensure technology is effectively utilized to support policies and procedures in areas of responsibility.

Participate and provide representation on contractual curriculum and program development committees, as well as statewide workgroups and committees.

Maintain controls and ensure compliance with federal, state and district laws, rules, regulations and policies and guidelines; included but not limited to the Department of Education, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC), the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges, (SBCTC) the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), and the Intercollege Relations Commission (ICRC).

Work closely with instructional leaders regarding student success, equitable access, academic policies, curriculum, certificate and degree requirements, grades, and faculty concerns.
