Description

Are you energized to drive adoption of generative AI and machine learning technologies at AWS customers and service evolution of these technologies with AWS Service leadership? Are you passionate about building new businesses? AWS is seeking a Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist to define, build and lead the business development efforts to scale world-wide adoption of key components of AWS AI/ML platform. As an ML Specialist you will be responsible for defining, building and deploying targeted programs to accelerate worldwide adoption of AWS ML Services.

Key job responsibilities

• Be the outward face of AWS generative AI and machine learning by defining and executing go-to-market activities for Amazon SageMaker.

• Work hand-in-hand with AWS generative AI and machine learning Solution Architects, Product Managers and Marketing Managers to run world-wide sales plays and campaigns that target specific customer cohorts and drive specific use-cases and service capabilities.

• Engage directly with customers’ business stakeholders on a daily basis to understand their needs in generative AI and machine learning and help them adopt the right Service capabilities.

• Define and drive the process that regional AI/ML presales and account teams will follow to accelerate sales and partner engagements of the AWS ML Services portfolio and synthesize data information gathered from these customers and partners into your GTM strategy to successfully scale service adoption.

• Garner impactful customer and market insights, develop messaging and solution strategies, communicate those findings to product and sales teams, including senior management.

• Educating and enable regional AI/ML presales and AWS account teams to drive effective sales plays and campaigns to accelerate worldwide adoption of AWS ML Services.

A day in the life

You will bring technical knowledge and business experience to communicate the benefits of using managed ML services in AWS to ML platform engineering, data science and business intelligence teams with Directors, VPs of these teams and with C-Level executives. You will interact directly with customers at the highest levels of large enterprises and technology partners. You will quickly gain knowledge on complex technology ecosystems (eg. generative AI and machine learning vendors, partners and customers), and leverage it to disambiguate how/why these technologies are built and consumed. Using this, you will bring clarity and direction to Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, build and and execute them. You will leverage strong consensus building skills to work across multiple functional teams (Product, Marketing, SAs, Specialist Sellers) to create scalable programs that apply holistic, business problem-driven approaches to selling to enterprises and enterprise partners. You will articulate business insights, risks and challenges clearly with empirical data and metric through monthly reports and as response to key requests from leadership.

The WWSO ML Services team drives outbound product management and business development in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • 5+ years of product management, business development and/or pre-sales roles at B2B companies (Enterprises, Startups, Management consulting or System Integration Services Companies, preferably in Analytics, IoT, ML, AI).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Go-to-market experience in driving adoption of new products/services/features at scale leveraging field sellers and also through direct 1:1 customer engagement.

  • Experience in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously (campaigns, projects, launches etc.) working across multiple functional teams (Product, Marketing, SAs, Specialist Sellers).

  • Experience managing, tracking, and communicating subjective and objective business performance, risks and projections.

  • Experience in advocating on customers behalf by understanding their pain points, helping customers navigate through technology options and adoption challenges, and conveying insights back to product teams.

  • Experience in inventing and simplifying the positioning for complex product portfolios with price, performance tradeoffs and communicating it to field teams and customers.

  • Experience driving outbound product management, business development or pre-sales for products that need to scale with price/performance in a hyper competitive environment.

  • Technical/business background in deep learning / generative AI.

  • Publications or presentation in recognized deep learning / generative AI journals and/or conferences

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
