Salary:                   $206,350/year to $231,110/year + bonus + equity + benefits.

 

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Duties:

 

Design schematics, complete board layouts, and assemble, test, debug, and integrate designs into electromechanical systems. Collaborate in a team environment across engineering disciplines. Transform ambiguous requests and vendor reference designs into working custom solutions. Incubate new technologies into research prototypes. Work closely with various internal and external organizations to define and execute the long-term vision. Travel required. Domestic 10%. International 5%.

 

Requirements:

 

Requires a Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Digital System Design, or a related field and 36 months of work experience in an electrical engineering-related occupation.  Requires 36 months of experience in each of the following:  1. Schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, or Altium; 2. Standard electrical engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, high-speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and function generators; 3. Mixed domain circuit design, low power design, filter design, operation/instrumentation amplifiers, ADC/DACs, power supply design, high-speed differential circuits, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and programmable logic-based development; and 4. Defining requirements, working independently, managing priorities, and cross-functional collaboration. 

 

Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Digital System Design, or a related field and 60 months of work experience in an electrical engineering-related occupation.  Requires 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in each of the following:  1. Schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, or Altium; 2. Standard electrical engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, high-speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and function generators; 3. Mixed domain circuit design, low power design, filter design, operation/instrumentation amplifiers, ADC/DACs, power supply design, high-speed differential circuits, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and programmable logic-based development; and 4. Defining requirements, working independently, managing priorities, and cross-functional collaboration.
